so besides D&D / Pathfinder / other clones, what else do people play? Any Old or New World of Darkness people around? GURPS? Legend of the Five Rings? Dark Heresy? post the games you play!

I've only played DnD 3.5. And zman, I'd be up for it too, but I don't have my voice right now so I'd have to use a text-to-speech thing.

I wrote a d100-based system back in high school, the rules for the entire system are like 5 pages long (not counting the ubiquitous lists of skills, equipment, etc. that justify the page counts of most RPGs) and it's really easy to teach people, so I usually use that when I'm running something.  I called it "ZillaLogic".  Aside from that, I play Shadowrun, Star Wars, and Palladium mostly (the latter is usually either Heroes Unlimited or Rifts).  If someone else is running the game I don't complain too much about the system.

This seems like an appropriate time to show off this other RPG I wrote based on Fight Club.  I never finished it completely but after some creepy incidents involving the play testers I abandoned the project and posted what I had.  Here's the link.

The vanilla version of the game (i.e. no sourcebook) has a cap on how crazy your character can be, and uses a point system to measure the crazy.  When I mentioned I was writing a sourcebook for maxed-out characters, some of the more enthusiastic play-testers started purposely making their characters take things WAY too far during homework assignments, just so they could max out their characters faster.  Having to GM those scenes bothered me.
