For anyone getting the HTTP Error 503 message when trying to sign on, that's a problem on the minecraft.net sides and not the server.  They apparently got new login servers for 1.3.1, and as a result they haven't been working very well and this error happens at least daily.

Well then, set up a cracked Minecraft server that bypasses normal mc accounts.

i tried making one of those obsidian generators indoors and it was a complete success

Cannot wait until I get a new computer so I can actually play Minecraft...

speaking of blowing up there sure are a lot of creepers and poo poo about, and one of them destroyed one of my paintings and two of my snow golems are dead :(

It's because we haven't put torches around the town at all, really.

Also server upgraded with more RAM

New plugin: Wireless Redstone

You have a signal that goes to the transmitter and comes out the receiver.  To set it up you do the following:

1. Place a transmitter with the /wrt channel_name command.
2. Place a receiver with the /wrr channel_name command.
3. Wire the redstone to the transmitter.  When the current is active, the receiver sign will change to a redstone torch.

To delete your channel, destroy the transmitter sign and then any receiver signs if the current is active.  The plugin doesn't let players destroy the receiver sign/torch.

EDIT: Here are some pictures explaining it. 

I have placed a transmitter and receiver on the test channel:



Notice how neither line of redstone is active.  Next, I place a redstone torch on the line running to the transmitter...



And voila!  The receiver has turned into a torch and the signal is carried on.

Which parts? Also are you ONE BILLION percent sure it's reverting?

Did it happen while you were playing or after the server was empty and you rejoined?

Make some changes to that chunk, type /save-all and then rejoin to see if it works

It seems like it's a Bukkit problem.  I updated to the latest dev version as well as the latest dev version of dynmap, which was meant to at least ensure they don't contribute to the problem.  I can't guarantee it won't happen but it's less likely now.
