I have heard a ton of praise for NWN2, if you are recommending it then I guess I have no choice anymore.

Yes, Mask of the Betrayer is awesome. NWN2 in itself wasn't that spectacular but worth a play-through. I also enjoyd the other expansion, Storms of Zephyr or what-not, though it got lousy reviews for some reason.
