Isometric RPG fans unite!  But don't just play the role of an isometric RPG fan....you have to be one (hahaha)!!!!!

Of course we all know the greats like Fallout 1/2, Planescape: Torment (personal favorite!!), Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc.  Unfortunately, a lot of people don't know about many of the games that are still being made.  Here are a couple of cool sites for them:

The Age of Decadence (Iron Tower Studio): http://www.irontowerstudio.com/
This game isn't out yet but they have a combat demo out which is very fun and has a nice level of complexity.  I don't know when the full game is supposed to be out but it should be pretty great.  It also has several ways of finding out critical plot points so there are literally no NPCs that you can't kill!!

Spiderweb Software: http://www.spidweb.com/
These guys make a ton of games and their latest game (Avadon: The Black Fortress) is on Steam with a demo which is nice.  The games are a lot of money but really they are all solid with Avernum being the most popular one.

Share some more with me, boys  :roddy:

I played Avadon, it was dope. It was pretty simple and repetitive but enjoyable nevertheless.

I hate isometric RPGs. I can never figure out where to go. What's wrong with just having a flat surface? 3D graphics are different. If the image distorts as it scrolls, then I'm OK with it. Otherwise, I can't tell a hill from a valley.
