I'm sure it's a fine value, but they release these things all the time.  Anyone who actually cares about PC gaming would pazz right over it, and if it was all you could afford then you're better off saving your money and buying something better in the future.

You're right, they do this all the time, you don't need to have the latest tech to enjoy PC gaming, hardware like this is aimed at those people. Saving money and waiting for something better is an awful strategy

buy a couple of rungs below the flagship model, or maybe something nearer when they've fleshed out the line a little and the prices have dropped, don't go straight for the bottom of the barrel.
