it's a show based entirely on awkward situations

it wasn't funny when Home Movies and a dozen other Adult Swim shows did it

The Office and Pawn Stars are the only good shows currently running on television. And Seinfeld counts too since they started rebroadcasting it in HD!

I think Danny Devito starts in season 2 and he's pretty hilarious.  But I don't really know the progression, I just watched it as it aired on Comedy Central over the summer.  It might just be the new stuff that I didn't like.  I think I just got burned out on so much of it.

The original is where it was at.  Watching a case from investigation to prosecution is what the show should be about.  Take that element out (like CI and half the SVU episodes do) and it's just another hammy cop drama.

CI was pretty great with Goren.  A shame they didn't ever show prosecution.

I try not to think about how badly they ruined the show with Jeff Goldblum.
