wow they make you shoot it in the body and track the animal after the shot, sounds like they made it realistic, also who hunts with a recurve bow, use a compound bow, and with any bow if the draw weight is to low of course it won't kill. 

There's a compound bow as well but it's more expensive. Also, for some missions you have to use pre-determined gear (they're very few)

WOW!!! So there I was, stalking innocent animals with a powerful high-velocity projectile dispenser and I catch glimpse of this bear. I shot it but missed any vital organs so he ran away. Good thing about bears is that they're slow so I started running after it, hoping he'd drop eventually due to blood loss. after a while I kinda lose track of it so I just stop and look around.

When all of a sudden...

A heavy metal riff started playing (so far the game hasn't played any music during gameplay). I was confused and wondered if it was coming from some tab I had open?!!?!? Then I look to the side and THIS fetchING HUGE BLACK BEAR IS RUNNING TOWARDS ME! I poo poo myself but still manage to pull up my rifle and shoot it in the gut at the last minute. He obviously gives up eating me and runs away and I still manage to land another shot as he was running. I chase after him and shortly after he dies. I'RE WINNER!

Yeah, with buckshot and slug ammo. But now I bought a semi-auto rifle, I even managed to land 4 shots on a running bear once (the last one hit his heart and insta-killed it!)

as a hunter, i am disgusted by your lack of one shot kills on moving targets

as a 12th century samurai warrior, i am disgusted by everyone's use of "guns"
