I am glad you agree, it is harsh but it was totally reckless and I am seeing people make the argument that he never saw the opposing player.  I don't buy that because I think that's exactly the problem, it was incredibly reckless and dangerous and I think it should be a red.  A yellow is probably fair, but I don't think a red is really that radical

Whoever is doing the gamecast on ESPN is going absolutely livid over the red card which just goes to show how biased the ESPN coverage is (not that that was hard to see anyway).

Wow well what a game, not how you want to win but congrats to Madrid.  I think that gif is biased but I don't know a good full video yet, I think the ref should have given a yellow BUT a red was still correct--harsh but not wrong.  And of course Dortmund abused Shaktar, so we have our first two quarterfinal teams!!
