I got it today, it's free to play, and incredibly fun. It can be hard to run though, I had to lower things to low/medium on my gts 250 and it can still get laggy, but it's very cool other than that. Also my drivers are out of date so that may have been an issue, the new Nvidia beta drivers apparantly improve performance with it. I was playing with #JAVIKS today and we had a blast

You need to unplug the USB controller from your system. It’s usually the Microsoft’s game pad but if you have anything else attached except from the primary peripherals like keyboard, mouse or earphones, detach it to fix the problem."

Lol

I have no idea what I'm supposed to do other than drive around aimlessly and eventually get killed instantly in one shot all the time

You can probably run it on low at a low resolution, Radeon mobile chipsets are quite good (I have a 4xx one in my HP laptop I think)

EDIT: I run it at medium-high 1600x900 on a Phenom II x4 965 4gb RAM with an ATi Radeon HD6670
