The paddle is segmented in 8 parts, each one sending the ball at a different angle, never straight ahead

Oh poo poo, I didn't know that. I'm used to the ripoff versions where there's a simple formula determining the bounce angle (actually equating to the vertical speed of the ball) based on the ball's relative position to the paddle.

However, my father owned an original Atari Pong console at one point in his youth and was capable of aligning the paddles in such a way that the ball would actually bounce between them indefinitely. I'm not sure of the angle, but I am sure that it was indefinite.

BROTRR drinking game.
Step #1) Load the game up.
Step #2) Pick your rig and agree on a single map
Step #3) The first person who goes and finishes the race drinks
Step #4) The next person in line plays the same map, trying to beat the best time
Step #5a) If the time is beaten they have to drink
Step #5b) If the time is not beaten they don't have to drink
Step #6) Repeat Steps 4-6
