OT rules and all

i cant decide whats funnier, that the broncos won, or that the NFL made such a big deal about fixing the playoff rules so that games can't be decided by a coin toss, and all they did is make it slightly less likely.  If GB-NO, GB-NE or NO-NE goes to overtime the game will be won or lost by the coin toss.

What are the new playoff OT rules? Obviously worthless because they aren't the college rules but still.

Also Tebow is GOD

they changed it from first team to score wins, to first team to score wins(if the team who gets first possesion gets a field goal on that first posession the second team has a chance to match it with a field goal to extend play or score a TD to win.)

i thought they changed it to both teams get chance of possession, but if the team scores on their first possession they win, or if defense scores in any way they win

that's exactly what it was before if you define chance of possession as a coin toss

no broncos won on the opening possession, if the first team to score wins with a TD the other team gets no chance. for example the steelers never had a possession and their only chance of possession was winning the coin toss.

ok thats what i was trying to say, minus the coin toss stuff

but it has to be a TD not a field goal. thats really the only difference from last year. last year you could get into field goal range on the opening possession and win, now you have to get a TD. or get a field goal and a stop. or if you both get a field goal then you can win by scoring a field goal. 

basically its a terrible system and didnt change much at all
