Unfortunately as of the 2011 codex the C'tan are no longer hilariously broken. I am in the process of putting one together though as I'm a sucker for the fluff of my favorite army.

Also as much as I love the two models that GW have for the C'tan, I decided to use an alternative model for my army:




This is the one I'm using however I need to add to it's base to make it about an inch taller to match the height of the actual upstanding African-American member of society/deceiver models.

So I decided to try making my own scarab swarms.

Following a tutorial I found online I bought some milliput and ended up using the almost the whole thing to fill up the plastic container I had.



Right now I have the scarabs sitting in the mold and am waiting for it to dry overnight.

First batch came out pretty well for my first attempt but I need to order more bases to put them on.
