You could try flipping the switch and see if it turns on or off

i have a hair dryer with 2 settings to the switch looks like || | O where || is the most powerful setting, | is the mid-setting and O is off

It's a light thing that you plug into a wall so u can see what you are doing in pitch black. Like for your bathroom or somethi g . I think it's broken
