Man I hate those helmets.

I would assume the textures affect performance, but since all they're doing is making the game look like it was released a couple of years ago it probably won't make much of a difference.

They dick with your aiming but no they hardly affect performance. I was at 700% and now im at 634%

I'm only using that helm because it's the best one i've managed to scrounge off enemies so far.  Didn't realise some helmets screw with aiming, i'll have to check this out.

Haha no i meant like the wings are so big it blocks your field of view. Nothing to do with stats or anything just personal preference.

I found the most bad assed weapons today. I already forgot what they're called though. I have to check again.

Great Helmet: +44 head
Heraldic mail with tunic: +44 body +16 leg
Iron Greaves: +33 leg
Thick Gauntlets +10 body

Great Sword
Heavy Round Shield
War Bow
Heavy Charger Horse

Well, it would be cool if heavy helms did effect your character's vision.


Yeah, i've got similar armour, but I use a balanced lance and light crossbow, heavy hunter horse.  Leadership 6 so far, trying to get it to 10.

pfft crossbows; you can't reload the good ones on horseback anyway, so I just went with a war bow.  My leadership is only 4, so I can only have 60-something men :(

charger horse + balanced pike = killing machine.

I can't stop laughing at that for some reason.  The total massacre of poor innocent farmers.
