I've decided that I prefer Vietnamese tea culture to Chinese tea culture. The reason being that the Vietnamese typically consume tea outside and not necessarily with a meal. More so, they aren't afraid of throwing other drugs into the mix. Men commonly smoke tobacco from a bong while enjoying tea. Coffee is generally accompanied with a glass of hot green tea to get rid of the bitter aftertaste.

The portions are relatively small so the combination works quite well. Also keep in mind that the Viet people have retained the ritual aspect of their caffeine culture. Although most drink coffee daily, they usually only do so in social settings. Americans, on the other hand, typically consume coffee to feed their addiction.

I've dropped a teabag into a cup of coffee a couple times to maximize it's caffienity and grossosity at work.
I dont suggest it.

I'm going to drop some cash at Verdant Tea this weekend, I signed my friend up for the tea of the month club but since it was my account I get the coupon code!!

If you're curious about tea I really, really recommend this: http://verdanttea.com/teas/5-for-5-tea-samples/

Laoshan tea is fantastic. Gentle like the Shandong soul and earthy like the soil.

Hello,

@Namclone sent me a link about Richard Stallman and it mentioned that he always brings tea bags with him and he likes to drink that tea WITHOUT milk or sugar. Does anybody know what kind of tea it is? I want to drink it

Why would you read about the habits of Richard Stallman? He eats his own toe jam.

Cutting back on coffee a little bit so I'm starting my morning with my old favorite: 1st flush darjeeling!

I must've posted in this thread before -I used to drink tea non-stop!

Anyway, with more health consciousness in mind, whilst looking at the non-profit WHF site (could be the most popular site in the world.) I noticed on the start of a seven day meal plan, Green tea was always present for at least breakfast.

Combating free radicals means anti oxidants. The highest concentration of which is found in cocoa I believe. So, eat your dark chocolate!

:EDIT:

Correction. Most popular site for food.
