the new burzum review

where belus sounds like a garbage truck diarrhea production-wise, fallen sounds like it was produced by timbaland i mean this poo poo is tight. this is probably the first time you can tell varg has put effort into a recording since hvis lyset tar oss. i was told before listening that this album was not really black metal but i assumed the opposite because vorg is retarded and thinks his black metal is not black metal. of course i was right except the intro and outro tracks are stupid boring bookends.

the grimness is pretty varg standard and nothing really stands out except the balanced bass and drum levels which only come as a surprise. the highlight of fallen is varg's golden singing voice which he seems to have gained a lot of confidence in this past year. just about every track features weird clean vocals, both in the form of chants and a classic a capella interpretation of an animal stampede. his harsh vocals seem to vary with each track too and if this keeps up you can bet on some blackened ceiline dion in the future

This topic reminds me I have not listened to Burzum for almost two and half years. Maybe I will again??? Maybe not.
