as long as you recognize the usual one or two classics as being cool or great (eg eva, bebop, you don't even have to watch them) then you can talk as much poo poo about anime as you want
Japanese animes are the very embodiment of LOSER. They don't have any cartoon based on big rigs. At least we have transformers, and it has a big rig as the ass-kicking universe-saving protagonist, which instantly makes it the best art-production in the world, right under the BROTRR itself.
