That game was kinda annoying

The demo didn't impress me. The camera distortion got on my nerves after about 2 minutes. Opening doors was also kind of annoying. Another thing that bothered me was my character's sanity. This seems like a cool game play mechanic but when my character started losing sanity by looking at a skull but was perfectly okay with throwing rotting body parts around, it kind of lost some of it's coolness. Is this demo an accurate representation of how penumbra works? If so I may just skip both this game and that one.

On the contrary the demo was totally AWESOME

This game blows.  It's not the least bit frightening, just like Penumbra, except this time you can't move faster than a crawl and your character can't spend 5 seconds in low light without wetting himself.

I like how they point out in the video on their site that their hugely innovative system means no more help texts, and yet you're barraged with hints to use all the completely unintuitive poo poo you need to get through the game.  And even then, I had no idea you actually had to click the oil to put it in the lantern.

The sanity system adds nothing to the game except another restriction, and the ability to supremely annoy you whenever you're having a hard time by making your player start standing at a 90 degree angle and play a pure tone in your ear.

The developers look like they could make something scary, but the tech/format/graphics/physics look like they belong in 2006. Also looks like the story is some mystical demon crap like that.
