It's a instrument video game made by the developers of Guitar Hero 1&2. It has Guitar/Bass, Mic, and Drums. You can purchase all the instruments together, or buy them seperately. It is also online.

200$ is the price for one real starter quality instrument. And it is quite hard to get good at Guitar as fast as Rock Band. I play Bass Guitar. Rock Band/Guitar Hero is a totally different experience.

Easy bass lines are easy, but it's still hard for good stuff. The fingering is something you have to learn, plus the timing and all that. Bassists are in very high demand too, especially good bass players than don't play the same note for the whole song.

Well i never mentioned getting good, you could start the band and suck though, and that's aparently enough going by what i hear when i flip through radio stations.

And $200 is going to get you a good guitar, mine cost $120 and it's not horrible.
