OK, so DarkBASIC is too cheap, FreeBASIC is too hard, Python doesn't compile, BlitzBASIC is 100% commercial, and everything else is way too complicated. I want a robust, yet portable game development language that requires very little to run, and cross-compiles to pure machine code for a variety of platforms, with Python-style syntax, but classic BASIC keywords. It would also be cool if you could just put an asterisk in whenever you want the program to just put in a value for you, and if stuff could be processed before the program opens by adding a # to the beginning. I want to be able to write a game like this:

Don't listen to them, Thunder.  Standards and practices are for suckers.  Why do something the same way everyone that's ever done it successfully does it?  Fire ain't gonna re-discover itself, Proto-metheus!  Get out there and write the perfect compiler, one which will save you the work of programming, right after you do a hundred times more unnecessary programming work beforehand!  RE-INVENT THE WHEEL, SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO!
