The Nintendo Wii is a game system that grandmas can play with their grandkids, and people with lives outside of critiquing the textural accuracy of gooey ex-man giblets can play a fun game that won't turn you into a couch potato.  This is why it is currently the #1 selling home console, and broke all-time industry sales records during a recession year.  MotionPlus is the next step in the motion control experiment, an attempt to bring fine accuracy to a control scheme that has tons of potential for innovative game play.  And the DS Lite has Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon AND Elite Beat Agents, so unicorn y'all.

I did recently get a PSP at a yard sale for $20.  God Of War was gorgeous, but I beat it in 2 days.  I still haven't beaten Fire Emblem, and I've had it for a month and a half.
So are you rating the PSP based on a total sum of one game? I mean it's ludicrous to compare an action title like GoW to Fire Emblem. I could say get Final Fantasy Tactics and it would be just as long as Fire Emblem.
I have both a DS and PSP, and both of them are almost equally awesome. I do use my PSP way more though but only for watching TV shows. The game library for both systems is almost equal.

DS = Pokemon about it
PSP = AAA BLOCKBUSTER TITLES THAT ARE UNPARALLELED + HOMEBREW + MOVIES + MUSIC + GPS + CAMERA + JOYSTICK + MORE BUTTONS + NO GAY TOUCH SCREEN

I was really just bringing it up to get suggested titles.  I'm not keen on the FF universe and the FFT "each soldier has so many uses" thing kind of bugs me, I have "Song Summoner" on my iPod and it has a similar system and it just rubs me the wrong way.  I'm certainly not saying the PSP is crap - looks and feel wise, it is tits.  But I usually play DS Lite when I'm out and about.  Casual games have their place too.  The most fun version of Puzzle Quest I've ever owned is the one on my phone.

I never said the DS was bad, in fact I'd say it's RAD, especially if we're talking about Fire Emblem. The wii is lame because there aren't really a lot of good games on it. Sure, there are plenty of games that are enjoyable if you just want goofy party games, and a lot of people want that. And that's fabulous, but I'm not a "casual gamer" or whatever.
There's a Fire Emblem for the Wii...  Then again, I did see a training video the other day about a Wii video game where you're a girl in a cowboy hat, chaps, a feather boa and not much else, running around with a katana and dismembering hordes of zombies.  Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers, I think it was called.  She has a sister dressed in a sailor outfit.  No I am not making this up.

Anyways, yeah.  The Wii.  I still want one.  Casual fun fits into my schedule better.

Touch screen rules.  DSi has a camera.  My iPod plays movies, video games and music.  And my phone has GPS, poo pooloads of buttons, a wide selection of classic titles like "Puzzle Quest" and "Watchmen", and a camera.  All of these devices fit in my pockets.  The PSP is a big clunky chunk of doubles on everything I already have in some other device.  But yeah, the games look sweet.  And yes, an analog thumbstick is nice.  Oh wait, mine broke after a day and I had to order a new one.  This brings the total cost of my PSP to $23.27, and still more than worth every penny.

Don't bother replying to andmill he is either being sarcastic or just retarded. Generally it is incredibly difficult to discern between the two and you're essentially talking to a wall either way

Oh you took my post seriously >_<

Only thing I like about the PSP is the massive screen. The thumbstick hurts and a second one would suck. I mainly use it to play burnout on occasion and play emulators on the go.
