So why does everyone care about motion controls. I think 3 years of the Wii and hardly any games to show for it should tell people that motions controls are a gimmick.

I was just more fascinated with the technology that Sony had rather than the games they could make with it.

That's because Sony doesn't utilize their techology.

I don't know, the 360 is meh.  The only games I play on it (not many) are multi-platform; the others don't interest me.
The Wii has Galaxy which, despite it's easiness, is one of the est games I've ever played.  You've got Zelda, which is aweome.  Then you've got some other games that most would consider throw-aways (like Warioware,) which I personally love.
All I can say is that, whereas my Wii gets lots of play, my 360 mostly gathers dust.

only good wii game is EXCITE TRUCK
