Oh wait it's not, Sony is bringing out... another motion peripheral.  It's a dildo with a ball at the end tracked by the EyeToy, amazing.  Oh look he's swinging 5 different things around and can't hit the ball.  Both speakers sound very uncomfortable and will probably cry themselves to sleep tonight after this shameful episode.

But wait, GOLDEN DEAGLE.  Still lame.  BUT WAIT, he's now slicing zombies with a sword, and shooting them with arrows.  The accuracy is amazing, way better than motion plus, and it beats Natal by not being just gimmicky bullpoo poo.  Sony wins the motion gaming round.

Modnation Racers: Kart racer with AMAZING level editor, but it's still a kart racer.  Not impressed.

GT5: looks nice, but so what.

New game by Ico and SotC maker, just some kid with his ugly griffin companion romp around another ruined landscape, no actual gameplay.  It eats barrels apparently.

I was pretty impressed by the accuracy of Sony's motion thingy. Puts the Wii Motion Plus to shame. Project Natal is crap. That Milo thingy though, looked impressive (assuming it wasn't all staged) but I can't see it working as a videogame. Not one able to hold my interest for more then 10 minutes anyway. If it DOES work as good as they advertised though, it's inevitable it'll gain self-consciousness and go SkyNet on our asses. Also cocks

Natal looks cool but I think it's limited.  It just seems to follow your silhouette and that works for dodgeball bouncing games but otherwise it looks gimmicky, as shown by their demos.  The Sony Dildo on the other hand looked extremely adaptable and amazingly accurate, applicable to hardcore games even, especially since the PS3 is already capable of delivering high quality graphics and processing power.

However, Sony is at a big disadvantage.  Natal and MotionPlus operate on preexisting hardware, so marketing them will be way easier for MS and Nintendo.  MotionPlus seems to be coming out very soon (about fetching time) and Natal can't be far behind, but Sony is still very much in the design phase and will have to market a completely new control scheme and set of games for a console that doesn't look very promising right now, very late in its lifetime.  I hope they rush this or they'll be left behind again despite the amazing capabilities of their hardware.

Yeah, Sony's dildo will be killed by the lack of software. But hey, at least the technology behind it works great!

So why does everyone care about motion controls. I think 3 years of the Wii and hardly any games to show for it should tell people that motions controls are a gimmick.

Why is everyone so down on the Wii?  Are you gonna tell me it's NOT the best console on this gen.?
