I actually discovered something different on my second playthrough.  In Montgomery, if you go into the flea market and talk to Sammy, you can add Livingrooms (+200 MP), Bedrooms (+200 HP) and Dinettes (+200 BP) to your inventory.  The tall grass just outside of there is also crawling with Bidoofs.  I'm currently at the part where you have to defeat Blackout Band in a Battle Of The Bands, but I'm having a hard time because even though I have Girogamesh at Level 9, I completely neglected his Guitar skill.  Any tips?

That sounded so plausible I figured it actually was in the game.

Although I don't know how recent memes made it into such an old game.

The game still gets updates if you connect it to the internet due to it's still-large popularity and fan base.

I'm at the dungeon after Kobeville (REALLY hard, I had to level up TWICE and they're still Shaqing my azz) with Shaq on Lv. 4 (183 HP, 97 MP with aid magic), and Michael Jackson on Lv. 4 (105 HP, 154 MP with Firebolt and Flame Vapor). I'm at this part too. Those minotaurs don't take no shaq. I guess it's time for grinding so I can get more magic and armour.

Also does anyone know how to get my shaqtitude up? I found a lady in Kobeville who gave me a job to help her and that boosted it by 2 points (though people still refuse to talk to me, I didn't realise there were repercussions for stealing items). I'm sure the various quests I'm unable to access would get me more money than stealing.

Also, what does learning Shaq-Fu do for me?

Shaq-Fu is Shaq's ultimate fighting style, just like Thriller is MJ's ultimate dancing style and Pitchman is Billy Mays' ultimate promoting style. It has triple the effect of any other style, plus it raises your WINNER status. Did anybody learn to do the Moonwalker with MJ yet?

Try buying some items at the Flea Market Montgomery to make leveling up faster or to strengthen your character.

also does anyone know if the game ever gets out of the fantasy type world with orcs and chainmail and stuff and into a more modern one? I saw all the city stuff at the beginning and thought "Oh boy this is going to be great" then I saw all the usual RPG stuff. Still WINNER of course.

Yes it does. I already beat the game. Very anti-climactic ending might I add..

From what I remember you revisit the city once at some point. It doesn't last the long. Majority of the game is cave fighting though.
