What's up with the wiki?

I would help, if I were a bit more fluent in Wikiese and also, not such a n00b.

How about writing up something on the origins of running non-heterosexual persongot? Not the actual origins but the YW ones.

Attached.

See Diss I told you he could do it. Never doubt the ZMAN.

ZMan: Looks good, I'll see what I can do with it.

EJ: I took a look at the list of all the articles we have and I'm pretty happy with it as well. Haven't seen the contents of every single one, of course, but I'm guessing that things are relevant where they need to be if certain memes and the like need to be included. You seem to be at least semi-active there and do some pretty good work keeping things clean and the like. I'm hoping to get in on the Wiki thing: articles, images, whatever info I remember from the old days and so on. If you have any tips, suggestions, criticisms, etc. of anything I add/edit, let me know on my talk page. I'd love to see the place grow to become a pretty nice repository of WINNER knowledge.

Double-post: http://yourewinner.com/wiki/index.php5?title=Running_non-heterosexual_persongot

I don't know the process or syntax for doing images in the wiki format, but eventually it will need to be added to the page for completeness. If EJ or someone else wants to add it themselves or give me a small run-down on the image-adding process, that'd be great.

Also, does anyone happen to have the rank structure of the original Rigist group from way back in the day, with titles like High Rigist and the like? I thought it would be relevant to the Rigism article but I don't know if anyone still has that info saved (put a request on the talk page but it's probably better I ask here). It doesn't have to include the people who held said titles, though most likely anyone who has the ranks saved probably has the list of people saved too.

Could this be of any assistance to you?

Edit: I think I pretty much got it :belair:

My first time ever editing a wiki

I think we could use a new main page

Some of the old rank structure may be here:
http://wikifaqs.net/index.php?title=The_BROTRRers#Supreme_Council_Of_Winner.21

I also tried looking for edits to the Wikipedia page for brotrr from 2005, though I can't find anything relevant (The only one referring to Rigism that I stumbled upon pretty much says the same thing as the wikifaqs page

I vote that we re-instate those ranks ^

Thanks andmill, that's definitely a start. Once I get more accustomed to working with images I'll play around with editing the page and see where it would work best - top, middle, bottom, left or right, and so on.

EDIT: Seemed all I had to do was move the image location to the top of the page and the right-align took care of everything else. Looks a little cleaner that way.

EJ, that is EXACTLY what I was looking for - don't remember much about the Supreme Council, but the religious and army-based stuff is it. I could write up an addition to the Rigism article explaining the positions and such. Of course, the article says to discuss major edits before-hand - would anyone object to me adding this information to said article? If so, I could perhaps put it in its own article.

The front page probably could use a fresh set of articles to view, come to think of it.

Sounds good. When I have some free time I'll make contributions where I can. I don't know how much more can be written about Running blahblahblah besides what's already; the Halfway Complete tag I appended because all it really needed with was the corresponding picture, and with that added in I think I can go ahead and mark it Complete.

If you go through some of the categories, I'll try and take on some of the minor edits off of Special Pages: Orphans, Uncategorized Articles, smaller things like that in order to cut down some of the lists there.

I've always written it as BROTRRers, but that's just my personal preference.

I've gone through the entire list of Special: Uncategorized pages and now the only page missing a category is the Main Page. I've tried to place most of the pages in categories where they would most logically fit (BALLIN' as part of Memes, for example) and have attempted to sort them from Bare to Complete.

Buh guh brr durr ffffffff I'm about to fall asleep soon but I did a good number of minor edits all over the current articles. Cleared the uncategorized pages list, minor spelling and grammatical edits, gave a few orphaned pages new homes, one or two redirects, and so on. Mostly I edited in a lot of internal links onto pages (left it to once per page, usually the first appearance of the world/phrase) which fixed a couple of orphans and dead-ends (off the top of my head I think "Illegal Cargo" had 0 pages linking to it - now it has five).

For future reference, EJ, what do you want done concerning redirects? For example, if the phrase "so much damage" appears in an article and I want it linked to the appropriate page, should I stick to doing [[So Much Damage|so much damage]] or would you rather have redirects for things like that? I stuck pretty much mostly to the former to avoid clogging up the full article list.

If you guys ever got anything else to add, let me know if you want me to put it up. Keep in mind that we also have a lot of articles that are lacking good amounts of text - the articles on each of the Four Rigs could use some fleshing out, for example.
