Just got back from seeing it (actually spent the 7.50 x 2 to go and see it) and I gotta say it sucked almost to the point of me leaving.

Not only did heath ledger do a poo pooty job of portraying the joker but Bale's voice was driving me fetching insane.

Combined with one HELL of a generic/easy to guess plot (if you can even call it that) it left me feeling like they should of tacked on yet another hour of the joker blowing up buildings.

I dont know how people are saying this movie is "OMG ITS SO DARK AND CREEPY" .. maybe I'm just fetched up but it seemed pretty lack luster and boring to me. Rachel was a complete douche bag and I was extremely giddy when

 

that and the scarecrow cameo (which was completely un needed) made me want to throw something at the director for being so stupid. He got like what 5 minutes of screen time? He already had 2 hours in the last one let him go.. it was unnecessary. Did I mention bales voice being annoying? Well it is. The special effects were nothing too amazing aside from a few nice explosions and plot holes were abundant as always. One that comes to mind is the whole sonar cell phone thing. He says the sonar would only work in that one phone because it was implemented into it. All of the sudden every phone on earth has sonar in it?

Back on to the whole "dark and creepy thing" will someone please explain to me HOW it was exactly? By him cutting a guy open and putting a cell phone in? Ok. Ever seen the original saw? Yeah they did the same thing except a chick had to cut him open herself and pull a key out of him. Not only does that make it OLD but its trying (or something) to cross genres which really just made it come up short. Was it the joker himself? Couldn't be. He acted like any other retarded villan who had their parents beat them when they were little. fetched up in the head and had no morality for others. I cant remember the name of it but it had Denzel Washington in it as a body guard to this little girl who gets kidnapped in mexico and he shoved C4 into this guys ass. That was awesome. TDFK isn't.

Someone show me otherwise please.

man on fire was certainly a WINNER film.

Some of its music was done by clint mansell which only adds to the WINNER of the movie.

(he did requiem for a dream. LOTR's has a remake of one of his songs "requiem for a tower")
