Not everything about Brexit is sad.

But now Boris Johnson is foreign secretary, so

Yeah, what a fetching joke, making Boris the Foreign Secretary, and thus Britain's chief diplomat.  He's a laughing stock in this country, hated by the whole of Europe - already the French FS is taking the piss out of him.  The thinking behind the appointment is because he's "charismatic".

I believe it's also an attempt to get him to face up to responsibility, after he tried to run away from dealing with the mess which is Brexit - something which he had a big hand in starting with all the lies he's told/endorsed.

Expect lots of comedy moments with him making a complete fool of himself on the world stage soon!
