Thanks steev. I don't take part in this process though (only distribution of the already treated water) but thought it'd be cool to show how filthy the water is before we work our magic. BTW this is the worst-quality source we draw from, other sources are much better

To signal boats there's a goddamn pillar there!! And the pillars were put there after a sand barge actually rammed one of the " water-sucking pipes" (shut up that's clearly it's technical name)

I should point out I don't work on this facility at all (but it's all the same company), I work in the city where the treated water is pumped into it's water network (reservoirs, pumping stations, etc). That being said, I doubt any unusual thing has ever been sucked up since the end of the... *ahem* "water-sucking pipes" has a filter
