Hoodslam, a 3-year old promotion based out of Oakland, is causing NATIONAL BUZZ among wrestling fans worldwide for its zany nature and wacky characters.  The events focus on hardcore wrestling matches, ridiculous rules, over-the-top presentations, references to X-rated topics, and crowd interaction (to and from).   Hoodslam is certainly not for kids.  The promotion reminds me of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in the mid-to-late 1990s.  If you have the time, you should go check it out before it becomes too big of a thing and report back.  Apparently the venue reaches its capacity every time.
