At some point in the future I want to buy a nice computer but hey I can run 7 year old games on it pretty well so maybe I'll just always play old things. Or pretend things are old so it looks right.

I remember the first card I got was a Radeon 9250 (remember AGP?), then an nVidia 8500GT. Was that one also AGP? I seem to remember it was.

Later I got an HD5450 and now an HD6670.
None of the cards died, they just got obsolete. The HD5450 is in my dad's PC now, though since he doesn't play any games it's kind of a waste!!!

I am actually only upgrading because I can't run Wazhack on max.
