Sony is releasing a new revision of the PS Vita in Japan with 1GB of built in memory, a USB port for charging instead of proprietary port, and an LCD screen instead of an OLED screen. There will be six colors available, too (in addition to special edition colors bundled with certain games). It appears to be retailing for the same price as the original PS Vita (about $200).

And then there's this home version of the Vita called the PS Vita TV. In addition to PS1 and PSP games (and all the multimedia poo poo supported by the regular Vita), PS Vita TV is supposed to be able to play almost all of the Vita library (except for games requiring the touch sensors and stuff like that, which sucks). The Vita TV alone will be about $100 (with 1GB internal memory), and a bundle with the PS Vita TV, an 8GB memory card, and a DualShock 3 will be out for about $150.

As far as I know, neither of these have been announced for release outside Japan yet.

I'm sure all 5 Vita fans will be thrilled.

A1: I own many titles, I recently picked up Playstation Vita Exclusive dual analogue next gen FPS experience   Killzone:Mercenary I would advise any PS Vita owner to pick up this game as it's quite a treat to play on the 5 inch OLED display.
