When I tried to shave my beard off the electric shaver-thingy that I've had for over five years started to smoke so I had to build a new one. I ended up with with a $30 trimmer that is crazy good.

I was just ranting about these gay art of shaving stores with all these guys in there acting like they are so sophisticated and from the early 1800's or something even though men in the early 1800's shaved with their boot knife
I find that I can ruin my enjoyment of any product by making the mistake of acknowledging fellow customers.

big rigs is great and i want to suck his cock

I wouldn't enjoy a 100 dollar razor and a 30 dollar bottle of lotion even if I was the only customer. But you are right.

Who fricking cares - do whatever whenever with whatever and get that face nice and clean unless you want a beard then in that case don't do that thing.

Possible art of shaving customer identified

Fun fact: The Art of Shaving is owned by the same company that owns Gilette!!

Seriously every single mall around here has one now, and every single mall is filled with hanging posters with different moustache styles advertising the place. Where the frick did this place come from? The adverts are so retarded too.

Never saw it before, now every mall has it!

I need to go to a mall; I have never seen these stores.

Never stepped in one before but I stand by my statement:

Razor: $30, lifetime
Blades: $20/100pk, ~5 shaves each, so if you shave 3 times per week that's about 3 years worth
Soap: $4, 6 months
Brush: $8

Optional:
Aftershave: $10 (a year maybe? 6 months? I am not sure)
Alum block: $5, 6 months
Liquid styptic: $5, lifetime-ish

So let's say year 1 you have spent ~$90 up front for a years supply of stuff.  After year 2 you have bought two more soap things and some more optional stuff, let's say another $25.  Same thing in year 3, let's add another $25 and maybe you're finally running down on blades.  After 3 years you have spent about $150 on shaving.  You can cut this down a lot more: Amazon sells a good razor for about $3, you can get blades for about $8/100pk and you don't need aftershave either.  If you buy the absolute cheapest razors it's like $5/month?  That's $180 over the 3 years for just the razors, and then a few more bucks for your $1 can of Barbasol.

Anyway there are a lot of variables but it's easy to save money on double edge shaving, and it is a fact that the shaves are much better in the end.  The day after I shave feels like as much stubble as immediately after shaving with disposable razors.
I use a disposable razor and rinse it off and reuse it for about 8-10 months, also i shave right after i get out of the shower so i dont need to use shaving cream.  If you buy a 10 pack of disposable razors you end up spending like $2 a year on shaving crap.
Thats like $6 in 3 years
