I really want to play this game!

Have no money though. Life is pain.

I am pretty excited for this game.

The INCREDIBLE AI interview video that got posted the other day was like all other game AI hype videos (incredibly boring and unimpressive) and everything they post on facebook is stupid but I am still hyped from the initial 10 minute trailer.

I remember being really excited for the first Bioshock (who wasn't?).  But as I kept playing it it gradually lost its shine and by the end I didn't even really care anymore.

I got both Bioshocks alongside Spec Ops from an Amazon deal and have yet to play either (the first one I at least played on a console though)

Really?  I thought it was amazing (final boss battle aside)

come to think, have there been any really great final boss battles in recent memory?  I feel like boss battles are becoming a real drag on linear story-based games these days and always have to qualify my opinion with them.  Deus Ex HR is a good example.

I'll agree with DE:HR. Other than that I can't really say, a lot of my gaming lately is in stuff that doesn't have endings or bosses (CK2, Tropico 4, EU3, etc.)

double-posting for no other reason except to say my friend got it as part of that pre-order deal thing and he passed me XCOM: Enemy Unknown because he already had it and most of the other stuff on that free games list

I preordered since I've been wanting to play Bioshock again and couldn't use my physical disk since I lost the key.

I got so incredibly angry fighting a big daddy again.  Ah, memories.

The game unlocks at 23:00 here, just when I'm about to leave to work. FML. It looks amazing and I want to play it now :(

Replayed Bioshock and it's still amazing from start to finish, even if the difficulty is completely manufactured by the end.

Bioshock Infinite is amazing thus far, it's really nice to just walk around and admire things, even more so than in the first game.  The initial key binds are retarded (V to melee, what) but that was easily fixed.  My real problem is with saves.  You can't manual save, and there's a very nebulous checkpoint system.  It doesn't tell you what's a checkpoint, only that it was however many minutes ago.  It's an incredibly dumb and unnecessary change that only serves to take away from the experience.

Had a friend show me a little video of this game being played and wow, so much of this game's scenery could make a great screensaver or background
