It will. In fact, there will be so much story-driven stuff you'll feel like you're playing a Sega CD game!

I think FTL is better than DS2 just my opinion.

DS2 looks like a really bad N64 game

I picked it up earlier this week and it's fun, but when poo poo hits the fan it REALLY hits the fan. I've only played for about seven hours or so total and I've had quite a fair number of times with one living person as a pilot and half the ship on fire with the other covered in breaches, but by the time things get that bad you already know you're not making it to the end zone.
