Yes, Guzan certainly deserves to start and he is capable of doing just fine.  The defense is going to be atrocious but that's to be expected.  The team desperately needs some tactics but JK is not the man for that (people said the same about his time at Bayern).  Hopefully the team can step up and get all 3 against Costa Rica or else we are in some deep poo poo.

Yeah I think Klinsmann is not the best either, but he's the best we've had thus far. I'm trying to think of a coach that is good that would take that job. It is kind of like the chicken and the egg, you probably aren't going to get anyone that could /currently/ coach league 1 in a good footballing nation, because they'd be doing that instead.

The team is getting results, I really don't think he's bad by any means, it's just that the team is also somehow playing worse.  It doesn't help that like half of the players who would normally be first team are injured right now.
