This stupid old bastard needs a computer that requires 0 maintenance, this old fart needs a CHROMEBOOK!!!

They also make a good secondary computer or netbook replacement.
They can do pretty much all of what you'd want a netbook to and they have a nicer display, keyboard, and trackpad than you'd find in most cheap Windows laptops.

Looks like they tried making the Macbook of Chromebooks. Too bad the whole point of Chromebooks was to be a cheap alternative to laptops.

This thing is twice the price of a Nexus 10 but does much less.

For that price I would get the Surface Pro because it has a Wacom Digitizer which is great for drawing MANGA

They included a copy of SeaBIOS in the firmware, so you could potentially load Windows 8 on this as long as the drivers are available.
The SSD is kind of small for that, though >>:3
