video plays on MX Player (.mkv) but there's no audio, getting a message saying the dts codec isn't supported

Try this
http://www.equisoforum.com/Thread-HOWTO-MKV-DTS-Audio-Codec-for-MX-DICE-Player

If you're still having problems with audio I found that disabling the h/w audio decoder helps on my nexus 7. To do that go into MX Player settings>Decoder, and check 's/w audio'

Hi guys I recently had this great idea to watch movies on my Nexus 7

I have this old netbook that I turned into a media server. I have it running transmission-daemon and minidlna so I can easily download torrents to it and stream them to all of my devices (RPi, PS3, and Nexus 7). Really beautiful when you think about it, except when I get bad stuttering trying to stream 1080p files to my Nexus 7!! I think it's the crappy WIFI in the Nexus 7 'cause they play fine locally. Anyone else tried this before??

P.S. I use BubbleUPNP and MXPlayer
