I live in a metaphorical hell where subway is the ONLY sub/sandwich place and the best pizza in a 30 mile radius is papa John's.

subway isn't bad just really bland, I had it a lot in college and wore out any of the decent sandwich types

i dont see why a lot of people hate subway. yes local sub shops are usually better, but i still think some of their sandwiches are really good like the tuna and italian BMT

Exactly this, but I don't have anything against Subway personally and I do like things like their tuna or chicken teriyaki
