I used a good crew on the last heist so each character only got about 20M out of it.  I got in at the bottom of this Pisswasser stock buying movement and managed to increase that by about 8M by the time I played yesterday.  Then I did the assassination missions which managed to get me to about 180M on Franklin and 150M on Michael and Trevor.  I then dumped all of that back into Pisswasser at $3.50/share which has now kept climbing and is at $5.15/share and only going up.  With 50M shares on F and 40M with M and T...that's a lot of money!!!

Altruism question:

Do you necessarily have to fight them?  I was just in second cult drop-off when a cutscene triggered, some worshipping happened, and then I had to shoot everyone in the cult.  A message reading "Altruist cleared" popped right after.  Was there another way to go about things?  It seems that 2 drop offs would be too low for anything like this to trigger.  Also, I came across this rather NSFW fellow in the Altruism camp:
