I'm sure Cirus won't mind being your personal concierge and setting up all arrangements for you / booking the room / covering the cost - You can just pay him back when you get there

I may come to this but I won't know for another week and a half.

I'm not going to be your bitch and look for hotels, but look up ones in Emeryville.  That is the retail part of the area and you should be able to get a 2 bed, 2 rollaway room for like $30 a night split each way.  Let me ponder how many people I can realistically have sleep here as well, I might just give in and have everyone stay here.
