I've been way behind on my music this year.  Just focused on a lot of other things.  Here's what I've liked the most so far this year:

  • Cattle Decapitation- Monolith of Inhumanity
  • Silversun Pickups- Neck of the Woods
  • Squarepusher- Ufabulum
  • Swallow the Sun- Emerald Forest and the Blackbird
  • Death Grips- The Money Store
  • The Flashbulb- Opus At The End of Everything
  • A Place To Bury Strangers- Onwards To The Wall
  • Kishi Bashi- 151a

onwards to the pits is pretty much the only album from this year i've heard so far.

the only albums I have from this year are the new Blockhead and Sleigh Bells albums and they are disappointing and downright awful respectively.

Like how are they 5x more popular than Shpongle? 

Like... with Pendulum/Armin I can at least see why they're the standout artists.  But IM is ugh

I set my standards for the new Netsky album so low that it actually turned out pretty decent
