Cool!!!!!  What else do you use with it

yikes, forgot to look in this thread:

- brush: unknown, it was a gift someone got me for Christmas and doesn't have any labeling or anything like that but I was told that it is 100% achievement cuber hair which I understand to be really really good
- cream: Proraso Eucalyptus & Menthol Shaving Cream - lathers up quickly, smells really nice
- aftershave: Bath & Body Works Ocean for Men - someone picked it up for me in some buy 2 get 500 sale and it's not that bad

Once some of that stuff runs out what I really want to get is cream and/or aftershave that has a sandalwood scent or something equivalent to that. I also want to get a nice razor/brush stand combo at some point but that might have to wait until I move apartments, my current bathroom has a standing sink so there's no countertop to speak of and the cabinets are too full of stuff for something that nice to just sit in one and take up space :(

You can also order samples from their site too so you can try out a few scents. I ordered the Sandalwood one in the past and liked it, but not as much as the Woods scent

No problem it's better than anything labeled a "shaving brush" unless you are shelling out major money. If the brush separates from the handle you can just super glue it back in. Mine fell out after a couple months but I haven't had any trouble since then

Had my first shave with my new EJ DE86!

I used a Derby blade since I heard they were less sharp and I'd be less likely to slit my throat.
I managed not to nick myself, I think I came close a couple times, but I corrected myself just in time!

Overall great shave! I think it'd be even better if I used the Astra blades so I'll try that next time!
