I'll work on it today.

EDIT: Updated to beta 1.4.6-R0.1.  Wireless Redstone will be updated this weekend, and for now is disabled.  dynmap might have some weird behavior, but it should be fine.  Everything else should be working as usual.

Jeb said the 1.5 release might have better fps and a slower loading time. I certainly hope this is the case!!

are you trying to say slower loading is better

it already loads very quickly, so better fps for a slightly slower initialization would be fine

They should do what they did with mods like betterlight and put optifine in stock minecraft

too bad optifine doesn't work for everyone, it always fetchs up badly for me

that's really weird i've never had a single problem with it

I don't need it but I tried to use it many times, and it's always had this weird thing where chunks will disappear from view at random and it's very hard to play with even though it gives me a ludicrous framerate

it works fine on my netbook though, the only problem is I can never decide what settings to use

It was probably vsync settings, they are a pretty common error when it comes to optifine. That said there still are a number of people who don't get better performance from it

I tried that and a bunch of other fixes, nothing changed

i get 30-40fps 1080p vanilla, 60-100fps 1080p after tweaking optifine

at least with 1.3, haven't tried it with 1.4
