I have been playing up until the most recent update at which point the server was not  updated, maybe that had began a month though, I'm not sure

they promised it during the beta, then they promised it for 1.6, now they promised it for 1.7 and NOW one of the changelogs for 1.7.2 is that they "laid groundwork to get it working someday"

I'd say Tekkit but that hasn't been updated since 1.2.5

FTB is supposed to replace it but it simply doesn't want to run on my computer, crashes instantly when I try to start a game (plus it has so many mods it takes ages to load)

Something with RedPower, ComputerCraft, IC2 and other mods like those.

Just ban pickaxes, buckets, and charcoal. That'll spice up the server some. Those are the rules I play with and I also play on hardcore. It's oddly fun.

I regret to inform you that I am not going to renew the server so it will be down in a few days.  I'd much rather pay for something fun!!
