Fiddy is also in a game, too, so he can't physically jump out of the tv screen and then shoot the console that Metroid on.

Also bullets from conventional human weapons forged on the street cannot come anywhere near damaging her armor. The best it can probably do is put a very tiny scratch on it.

Also if Samus's armor is specifically designed to resist attacks from alien creatures and bodies of volatile liquid (eg acid/lava), then there is no way you're going to convince me that a mere gun made from our time can pierce even the outer layer of an armor forged by an advanced alien civilization. I can't believe I have to state this.
