I think my mom messed me up in the head or something which is ironic because she said she would disown me if I was gay

but who knows maybe it was nature

Oddly over attached to mom that when puberty hit didn't feel someone could replace her, hence, introjected her personality and instead went to go find a man to treat just like the way mom treated you.

Or, I just read way too much Freud when I was younger. And if I remember correctly he was writing about identification.

I already hated my mom by puberty so that can't be it.  Freud was full of poo poo anyways.
