Cop: Um, a cyclist crossed on a red light and was hit.

Me: Oh. I saw bits of his brain scattered all over...

Cop: That was just blood. It probably coagulated a little bit.

Oddly enough, today I saw a car on fire at an intersection and I was driving through just as the fire truck was rolling by. On my way back I saw the owner on the side of the road speaking to the police. The entire front of the car except for the frame was completely gone.
