Found my old Dell Inspiron mini 10 I got back in 09 and the charger. But now I need a good os for it because the one on it is old and crappy and barely works. So far all the linux operating systems I tried either don't work with the wireless card and/or can't get a screen resolution higher the 800x600. Any suggestions?

uh I'd say Joli OS

The Mini 10 is one of those problematic GMA500 netbooks

after messing with linux for my server and my iMac, I'm partial towards Debian. Installing stuff on it is mad easy and if you get the netinstall you don't even get anything and are free to download and install only the packages you want!

Which is as easy as typing "sudo apt-get install PACKAGE"

Only reason i suggest Joli OS is because the dev made sure that GMA500 works out of the box and also they include the Broadcom WIFI driver which is needed by the Dell Minis

I'd say ICS 4.1.1

The dell minis are also good for hackintoshing, if you're into that
