Since WSW did a hilariously inaccurate review (here: http://www.yourewinner.com/index.php?topic=5493.0) of Midnight Race Club: Supercharged! a while back, I thought I might do this wonderful game justice by writing a much more accurate review.

GAMEPLAY
MRC:S! features not the Four ALMIGHTY RIGS, but a wide array of other vehicles, like the Buza, Swagon, and Angel Fury. Like the Four Rigs, all of these cars are highly accurate and true-to-life. The five tracks are the same lovely ones from BROTRR—Devil Passage 1, Devil Passage 2, Forgotten Road 1, Nightride, and Small Town Road. All of this just proves to me how much SS didn't want to mess with the AWARD-WINNING BROTRR formula and crafted a game that could serve as BROTRR's sequel.

Races are a bit different than the ones in BROTRR. The opponent moves, but at a much slower rate than in BROTRR. However, like in BROTRR, he stops before reaching the finish, so one can take their time and be WINNER in the end. Unfortunately, the RigPhysics have been tampered with a bit, but still remain highly realistic and breathtaking. After crossing the finish line, one gets not a "YOU'RE WINNER !" trophy, but a "YOU WIN !" trophy, likely to prevent WINNERness overload in newcoming players.

The gameplay, while not as great as BROTRR's, gets a 10/10.

STORY
The story in MRC continues where BROTRR left off, thrusting the player into a world liberated from the terror of Alex Navarro. Throughout the game, you will journey across the locales from BROTRR, trying to piece together what happened all those years ago.

Story also gets a 10/10.

GRAPHICS
The graphics, while not much different from those in BROTRR, still prove that you can't mess with success. The vehicles are all-original, and if your select "Random Race", you get a surprise guest appearance from one of the Four Rigs! Once again, I give the graphics a 10/10.

SOUND
Like the graphics, the sound in MRC is not different from that in BROTRR, but still WINNER. The Five Symphonies of Alex Burton still grace your ears if the CD is left in the drive, and the sound effects serve their purpose well. 10/10.

OVERALL
While not as WINNER as BROTRR, MRC:S! is still a beautiful work of art, and a worthy sequel to everyone's (except LOSERs) favorite trucking game.
