I liked the ending that they went with in the game and feel that the plot worked better overall as compared to their original idea with Tess and the other stuff. It's cool to see this behind-the-curtain information at what could have been, though. As a fan of the Ultima series, for instance, it's interesting to read just how wildly Ultima IX (a thoroughly poo pooty terribly-programmed game) could have been plot-wise.
